Thematology

The thematic areas of the lectures aim at demonstrating the fact that the Hellenic Civilisation and specifically the Hellenic system of values contain the answers to the fundamental questions/challenges of our times and give solutions to the problems of the age we live in. On this basis, the following thematic fields have been chosen:

  1. Society - Economy

  2. Policy (national and international)

  3. Education - Civilization - Culture

  4. Bioethics - Environment

  5. Science - Scientific Deontology

The lectures will give answers to the questions/challenges of our times connected to the thematic fields named above and will suggest solutions to the contemporary problems of humanity:

  • State of law, continuous development and deontology of “well-enterprising"

  • The global population is getting poorer, while at the same time a very small percentage of it is becoming richer and richer, reducing many others to utter poverty

  • Phenomena of modern types of slavery, not comparable to the older ones. Hideous types of violence and social exclusion

  • Modern politics is incapable of giving solutions to the problems of people and societies, while simultaneously it falsifies every condition and limit of human civilization in order to serve even illegitimate interests. But how should a politician think and act? What is the true nature and the aim of politics?

  • Nowadays the questions of bioethics as well as the non-invertible ecological destruction of the planet are urgent.

  • Phenomena of neo-medievalism in the fields of scientific research.

  • Scientific deontology cannot follow scientific discovery, but they should go along together, so that they can protect life and the values of nature. Scientific “worth of being” (axion esti) concerns scientific research

All the matters mentioned above cause the dive necessity of “well-enterprising” under conditions beneficial to the society. Hellenism, its system of values and cosmic theory can and must at last give answers to the pointed questions and solutions to the problems of humanity.
